Ordering Information

Delivery: We ship twice per week, so if your order
is in stock it will ship within 3 days. If it is out of stock we will notify you
immediately of the expected delivery date, but it will usually be within 10 days.
We send via insured US postal sevice. If you prefer some other shipping method,
please contact us. |
Gifts: If your order will be a gift, you may order
a gift box for an additional 50¢ per box. (We don’t
gift-wrap; the box is a kraft cardboard box which arrives flattened with the gift.)
We will also relax our return deadlines for gifts as long as you pre-arrange it
with us, by phone or e-mail. See Returns.

Returns: We will refund returns (minus shipping charges)
under certain conditions: |

1. You must contact us for a return authorization within 2 weeks of receipt of goods,
with the exception of gifts, which may be returned later by prior arrangement. You
must make this arrangement by phone or e-mail when ordering. Let us know when the gift will be given and we will give you
your new return authorization deadline. |

2. After a return authorization has been issued, please send us your return in a
timely manner (within one week), un-used and in the original packaging. Handbags
should have all tags attached. Scarves don’t come with tags, but must appear to
be in new, re-saleable condition. |

3. Ship returns via any convenient method, but you must insure them for their value
and retain tracking documents until you receive confirmation of your refund, indicating
that we received your package. (If you do not insure your package, please be aware
that you assume responsibility for the package. We will only refund it if we receive
it.) |
4. Customized merchandise is not returnable, so for instance if you think you will
want shorter than standard straps on your hand-bag, please request a free swatch
of the bag fabric before ordering, so that you will be certain to be satisfied with
it.

Problems: We have excellent quality control, but if
we have missed anything and you find a defect in your purchase, we will be happy
to repair or replace it.

1. Contact us immediately for a return authorization, describing your problem in
detail. |
|
2. Return the item via ground, insured for the value. Retain shipping receipts and
tracking documents. We will reimburse reasonable shipping costs (that is to say,
not overnight or courier.) |
3. Once we receive your package, we will repair or replace it as quickly as possible
and ship it back to you post-paid.

Customized Orders
|
Swatches: If you wish to order a (non-returnable) customized
bag or print-silk scarf, we will be happy to send you a free swatch of the fabrication
ahead of time. Computer monitors vary, so this is the best way to ensure that you
will like the color and texture of your item.

Strap Length: Our standard handbag straps are long
enough to wear diagonally across your body (see product description). You may request
a shorter strap before ordering, free of charge. However, altered merchandise is
not returnable, so please be certain that the bag is a suitable size and color,
and that your strap-length request is accurate, measured from the top of one end
to the top of the other.
Custom Sizes: Print-silk scarves may be ordered in
custom dimensions. The price of the order will be determined by the quantity of
fabric required. Please be certain of your request, as such orders are not returnable.
Hand-painted scarves are one-of-a-kind, and are not available in custom sizes or
colors.

Custom-made handbags are conditionally available, but cost and delivery schedule
will vary. It is more expensive to make a bag one at a time than in a batch, so
custom orders will incur a minimum $20 fee. Our price quote will depend on the fabrication
and the requested specs. Please be aware that all sizes, standard or custom, are
approximate give or take an inch.
